MEMORY MM w SIMON - Wed, 22 JULY 2020

I had an interesting meeting with my friend, Simon Hoon, to discuss some key aspects of memory. I learnt about this topic from the Late Tony Buzan, the inventor of Mind Mapping, nearly 20 years ago.

As usual, throughout our meeting, I drew a Mind Map to help me recall and explain the facts. There was great interactions and queries from my enlightened friend and the Mind Map grew and grew, like a living organism. It was really a great feeling that kept me going for 2.5 hours just to explain to my enthusiastic friend.

Just for the interests of those who visits my blog, I consciously apply most of the key memory principles, whenever I teach my students/participants. It is a great tool too, for all educators and teachers.

Enjoy the MM. Thanks.

MIND MAP ON “DESIGN PROCESS & CONSIDERATIONS” FOR COMPOSITE MATERIALS

MIND MAP ON “DESIGN PROCESS & CONSIDERATIONS” FOR COMPOSITE MATERIALS
From my experience, I find that the speed at which I create an A4 sized mind map depends on many factors. They are:

1) The amount of information present in the slides.
2) Familiarity with the topic.
3) Organisation of the slides.
4) How useful the mind map will be to my students.

As I will be using the above mind map for teaching, it is therefore, without doubt, invaluable to me. I love it as it is one of the best way to make a summary as well as introduction.

Enjoy, please.
Thanks.

MIND MAP ON 5G: A SAFER & BETTER WORLD?

SUMMARY OF 5G SEMINAR INVOLVING ERICSSON, HUA WEI & NOKIA’s CTOs

This Charles Rudd seminar was organised by the Institute of Engineers, Singapore. The focus was, "5G: A Safer & Better World?" The interesting part of the seminar was listening and mind mapping some of the relevant features, applications and strengths of three top 5G vendors' equipment respectively.

You may wish to try mind mapping while listening to the talk. It is interesting and engaging. You will never doze off. Thanks.
