A LH12 student, Max, asked me today how I managed to practically remember all the facts that I have mind mapped on the white board. I told him that after many years of teaching I have developed a long term memory for it. I also added that he can also achieve it for the coming class test by developing strong associations for each branch to be linked together to the next. The next step is to go through the mind map so as to enhance the learning points. Notice that no two mind maps are the same. Each is unique to each class.
Below are two mind map summaries for each of the classes (LA12 & LH12) that I taught! It was done slightly over an hour in class on the whiteboard. I have reservations over using any mind map softwares as it is practically impossible to create all the drawings, emphasis and branches in real-time on the computer within the allocated time.
