APhO2014 - 15th ASIAN PHYSICS OLYMPIAD OPENING CEREMONY MIND MAP

MIND MAP OF THE 15TH ASIAN PHYSICS OLYMPIAD, SINGAPORE

I was glad to be at the15th Asian Physics Olympiad, 2014 (APhO2014) jointly organised by National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National Institute of Education (NIE), Institute of Physics, Singapore (IPS), Materials Research Society (MRS) and supported by the Ministry of Education (MOE). The event involving 27 countries and close to 300 delegates, was chaired by Professor BVR Chowdari.

The APhO2014 was declared open by Professor Tan Chorh Chuan, President of National University of Singapore

Flags of all participating countries were displayed on both sides in the hall as well as published in the Programme Booklet. While admiring the flags hanging over the side and comparing it with the ones in the booklet, I spotted an extra flag....! Could you? Haha. Try please. Haha.

Please enjoy and have fun remembering the events by reading the APhO2014 Opening Ceremony mind map! I wish participants a pleasant and lasting memory of Singapore.

Lastly, I would like to thank Prof Tan Chorh Chuan and Prof BVR Chowdari for kindly autographing my mind map

Afternote:
I enjoyed the programme for opening ceremony very much and am looking forward to attend the Nobel Laureate talk by Professor Roy J. Glauber on "What is Quantum Optics" scheduled on 18th May 2014. You are welcome to see the Mind Map that I did for the talk. You may be in for a surprise?
