MIND MAP on PROF TN GOH's 8σ (8 Sigma) KEYNOTE SPEECH at SQI SYMPOSIUM 2001

I have always enjoyed listening to Prof Goh Tong Ngee's lectures / speeches, ever since I took his "Advanced Engineering Statistics" module in the 1981 Master in ISE course, NUS. He make this serious module, fun and lively to the extend that you will enjoy analysing / looking at data ( → information) in a simple way and yet, retain the rigors and robustness of a statistical analysis.

In my opinion, this module is definitely indispensible not only for engineers and scientists, but for doctors, managers and other professionals. Quoting from Bill Gates .........
BUSINESS@SPEEDofTHOUGHT - "How you gather, manage and use information will determine whether you win or lose". This probably sums up the importance of INFORMATION in this 21st Century.

TN Goh, as he is better known, explained the 8 features (with reference to my mind map) in his 8σ Keynote Speech as: SATISFACTION, STRUCTURED, STATISTICAL, STANDARDISED, SOFTWARE, SUSTAINED, SYSTEM AND SCENARIO.
